Iris Company is collaborating with C3LA: The Contemporary Choral Collective of Los Angeles to create an evening of live choral and dance. Artistic Director Sophia Stoller and Company Members Bryanna Brock, Casey Gonzalez, Joan Holly Padeo, and Carissa Songhorian are creating new short works in collaboration with composers Drew Corey, Lucy McKnight, Marcus Carline, Jaco Wong, and Saunder Choi from C3LA.

Lummis Day celebrates the arts, history and ethnic diversity of Northeast Los Angeles through educational and cultural events and an annual festival that draws the community together for a shared experience while providing a platform for cooperation among people of all ages and backgrounds.
Iris Company will perform two rep pieces, Coexist and RELEASE, on the Dance Stage.

After 7 years, Highways’ highly popular NEW SHOES concludes with a “Best Of,” featuring 16 choreographers from the 75+ who’ve presented work as part of the series over the years, curated by Highways Artistic Director Patrick Kennelly. NEW SHOES has been a platform for brand-new movement-based works from predominantly emerging artists and ensembles.
